This guide will walk you through how to use the study trash on MUiQ. The functionality below is for admins only.
Select “Study Trash” from the tool menu in the top navigation bar.
The “Study Trash” tab lists all Draft, Active, and Stopped studies that were previously deleted by any user from the study list.
Here you have the options to:
- Restore individual studies that were previously deleted back to the Study List (via left side buttons)
- Bulk permanently delete studies to clear up space on the server (via right side checkboxes/button)
❗Note: Any Active or Stopped study restored from the Study Trash tab will be placed back to its previous default location from when it was last updated. This means it could appear further down in the Study List.
The “Reset-to-Draft Archive” tab lists all Active and Stopped studies that were previously reset-to-draft by any user via the study’s information/settings options. These studies contain all the respective data collected (if any) prior to being reset-to-draft.
Here you have the options to:
- Restore individual studies that were previously reset-to-draft back to the Study List (via left side buttons)
- Permanently delete individual studies that were previously reset-to-draft (via right side trashcan icons)
❗Note: Any study restored from the Reset-to-Draft Archive will not override any existing versions of the study in the Study List that may have been a continuation of the Draft reset copy. This may result in multiple versions of this study in the Study List. The restored study however will be tagged with “[Restored]” as it’s new study name.
❗Important: Any restored study from the Reset-to-Draft Archive will have a new study URL, since it will be restored as a new version. Please make sure to copy the new study URL and replace any instances where you may have used the other Draft reset version’s study URL.
