How to Remove Participants from Your Study Results

Modified on Fri, 24 Jan at 5:28 PM

This guide will walk you through how to remove participants from your study results in MUiQ.

To remove participants from a data set in MUiQ, there are three ways to remove them and exclude them from all study results. MUiQ allows participants to be removed individually or multiple participants at once.

Start by navigating to the Participant Grid in your study.
It’s often helpful to filter only the approved results by selecting "Approved for Results" and select "Yes" from the drop-down. This will display only participants who have completed the study and are approved.

❗Only participants who are “Approved for Results” are included in Study Results graphs.

Checkboxes on the left allow participant selection, and each row shows participant details.

To remove individual participants:

Locate the row of the participant you wish to remove. Then, in the column for "Approved for Results", click on the checkmark icon that indicates this participant is currently approved for results which then opens a dropdown with a red X mark. Select this red X mark to mark them as disapproved for results.

To remove multiple participants at once:

  1. Select the checkbox in the corresponding row of the participant ID you wish to remove.

  2.  Click on Select Response(s):  dropdown below the grid and choose Disapprove for Results.

Below the table, buttons for “Bulk Disapprove” and “Bulk Approve” are also visible.

You will receive a dialogue box confirming that Participants Disapproved.

A pop-up dialogue box titled “Participants Disapproved” displays the message: “All Participants you entered were successfully bulk disapproved.” A blue “Close” button is located at the bottom right.
