This guide outlines Moderated Recruitment Policies and Fees with recruiting participants for moderated sessions through MUiQ
Rescheduling
If you need to reschedule a session, we are happy to accommodate. However, rescheduling within 24 hours of the scheduled session will incur a charge for the full honorarium amount and 25% of the recruitment fee for that participant. Rescheduling or cancellations with more than 24 hours' notice will not incur a fee.
No-Shows or Late Arrivals
If a participant is late or does not show up, please contact us directly. We will follow up with the participant to confirm if they can still attend or wish to reschedule. If they can no longer participate, we will arrange for an additional participant in another time slot.
Participant Criteria Mismatch
If you determine within the first 10 minutes of a session that the participant does not meet the required criteria, end the session and notify us. We will arrange a replacement participant at no additional cost. However, if the session exceeds 15 minutes, the participant must be paid for their time.
End-of-Day Reporting
At the end of each day, please email us to confirm attendance for all participants and provide a rating for each: great, good/okay, or bad. Based on this feedback, we will process honorarium payments.
Technical Issues
If a participant experiences technical issues (e.g., poor internet connection or equipment failure), notify us immediately. If the issue is on the participant’s side, we can cancel or reschedule them without incurring a fee. However, if the issue is on the researcher’s side, the honorarium plus 25% of the recruitment fee will be applied.
Session Start Times
If a participant is not present at the start of the session, please email us at muiq@measuringu.com and/or call 303-963-5449. We will contact the participant (via call and email) to confirm their availability. If we do not hear back from the participant within the first 15 minutes of the session, it will be considered a no-show, and no fees will be incurred.
Replacement Participant Scheduling
If a participant needs to be replaced or rescheduled due to cancellations, no-shows, or mismatches, we will aim to do so within the current study timeframe. If additional availability or time slots are required, we will reach out to you.
Participant Honorarium Payment Timing
Incentives will be sent to the email address participants provide and will be issued within 24 hours of a completed session. Participants do not need to contact us to receive their incentives, as we send them automatically. If they encounter any issues receiving their incentive, they can contact research@measuringu.com. For help redeeming or using their gift card, participants can contact help@tremendous.com.
